The Chamber can assist with ground breaking ceremonies and
other business promotions

Become involved with one or more of these Chamber committees or activities.

Agricultural Development Committee :  Members are actively engaged in promoting the agriculture and aquaculture sectors of the local economy.

Ambassadors Club :  This is the Chamber's business retention team that conducts on-site visits to member businesses and organizations.  Ambassadors also serve as greeters at Chamber events such as Business After Hours.

Education Committee :  Members seek to establish partnerships and linkages between the business community and the Carteret County Public Schools and Carteret Community College.  Enhancing the quality of education is one of the Chamber's top priorities
 
Our members are the stars of the show on the Chamber Action TV Program,
which airs locally on Time Warner Cable Channel 10
Leadership Carteret Steering Committee:  Helps coordinate the traditional, 10-week Leadership Carteret Program that is offered January-March each year.

for Educators:  Coordinates a special Leadership for Educators Project in the summer, an abbreviated version of Leadership Carteret, exclusively for educators.

Membership Committee:  Members develop strategies to support membership recruitment and retention and are responsible for New Member Receptions and recognition activities.

Military Affairs Committee
:  The MAC encourages a strong relationship between businesses and the military installations in the region.  It sponsors events that help recognize service personnel and their families.
 
Leadership Carteret helps build stronger community leaders through teamwork
Public & Government Affairs Committee:  Because the Chamber is the "Voice of Business," this committee seeks to identify and monitor public policy issues that affect small businesses in the region at the local, state and federal levels, while building relationships with government officials.

Reverse Drawing Committee:  Coordinates the Reverse Drawing, the Chamber's major fund-raiser, held in July.  This dinner function offers 325 ticket holders the chance to win $10,000. 

Tourism Promotion & Development Committee:     Members seek to develop creative marketing strategies to promote tourism opportunities in the county. 

Transportation Committee
:  The committee advocates highway, rail and air transportation improvements to benefit the region.
